Description

With the application S60Ticker it is possible to display any information in a (global) ticker band on your mobile device screen - incl. your homescreen!

By default the following information types are displayed:

* Incoming SMS (message and sender information)
* Pager: Show and signal dedicated incoming SMS as alert message - emergency SMS!
* Incoming Mail (IMAP4, POP3, Exchange, BlackBerry Connect)
* System wide alarm events (clock, meetings, reminder)
* A demo text of your choice
* Current time in the ticker header

Setup/Control Panel

The program S60TickerServer can be installed and started independently.
If you want to customize the ticker band or change any settings you'll need the application S60TickerSetup – e. g. for enabling autostart, hotkey support or setup the demo message text.

There are the following global menu options available:

* Start demo | Cancel demo
Start tickering the demo message text that is defined in category Demomode.

* Set profiles on | Set profiles off
If set to "on" all settings are stored for the current active profile. Each profile will start with initial default values. The current profile name is displayed in the main menu title view.
Counter fields for SMS and Messages are still global.
If set to “off” all settings are global.

* Shutdown & Exit
Makes a complete shutdown and exit of all S60Ticker components – incl. S60TickerServer.

* About
Shows an about dialog – incl. current program version and support email information.

* Exit
The application S60TickerSetup will be exited – S60TickerServer will still be active / in standby.

On-Action-Events:

Each ticker item can have support for an "On-Action-Event" - pressing (Joystick ) the underlined item for

* SMS/Emails will open the inbox.
* Alarms will open the system default clock.
* Demotext will start the application "S60TickerSetup".
* any other will start the given Url - e.g. start the webbrowser and open the Url.
