Created on: 28.05.2009 using every available update file within ipmart and my own updates.
(99% of all world remotes available for irremote up to 5.06.2009)
Turn your Smartphone into a remote control.
The main feature of Psiloc irRemote is ability to remotely control audio and video equipment using your Smartphone. The database of compatible codes is continually being evolved by end users who can test and rate all the codes. It supports most brands of electronic devices available on the market. Moreover, irRemote is usable with no additional software or hardware required.
Features
irRemote turns your phone into a universal remote control. irRemote allows to operate audio and video equipment using one device - Symbian operated smartphone with infrared port.
It's simple and intuitive. Just select the device from the list and control it using your phone's keypad. The database of supported devices is stored online and you can download new codes directly from the irRemote.
You can extend the list of supported devices by uploading codes or by composing your own remote using online wizard. Your uploaded codes can be downloaded directly from irRemote and ranked by other irRemote users.
MORE THAN 2500 REMOTE CODES COMPATIBLE WITH ABOUT 10 THOUSAND REMOTES
Instructions (Provided during package installation)
Solution 1 for the installation:
1.-Connect your phone to your computer on data transfer mode
2.-Navigate to "!:\private\2000C3EC\remotes\remotes.zip"
3.-Extract remotes.zip in its folder
4.-Delete remotes.zip
*- ! Represents the drive letter of your memory card on your computer.
Solution 2 for the installation:
1.-Open CapsOff
2.-Navigate to "!:\private\2000C3EC\remotes\remotes.zip" with x-plore or similar.
3.-Extract remotes.zip in its folder
4.-Delete remotes.zip
*- ! Represents the selected memory. (C or E)
**- Avoid screensaver starting during file decompression since it might stop the process

PS: AFTER INSTALLATION DON't FORGET TO FIGURE OUT WHAT METHOD YOUR PHONE USES FROM THE SETTINGS INSIDE IRREMOTE (example, nokia n95 8gb - method 4)

- Follow given instructions and your good to go.

- IR Database now updated : 2,491 IR types
- No instructions to be followed, just install, wait and be patient, this installation takes about 2 to 10 minutes... Once done its ready to be used, Memory card installation pre-selected.
Disavantages from this pack:
-Takes a lot longer to install
-File size is bigger now
-Registry created within the phone is larger since it creates 1 additional uid for the mandatory update package
-Every now and then during file installation you will be forced to attend its needs taking the risk of canceling and having to do it all over again.
-To fully remove app if you don't which to use it any longer you have to first remove update package from the installations manager, than irremote, and than drm common soluctions (only if this is the only psiloc app you use, otherwise don't remove it orelse other apps might stop working)
I dare anyone to make this app work with the 2490 remotes on only 1 sis file, without any embembed sis installations beside drm common soluctions...
I just made this package for laisy users, if you really care you will install the 28/05/2009 pack... anyway, the 05/06/2009 pack is mainly ment for sharing over bluetooth between hacked devices, it contains exacly the same files, no changes besides the addicional uid and time spent.
